About School Owners Forum

School Owners Forum is a community and educational platform built to help Nigerian school owners, proprietors, proprietresses, principals and school leaders build better, stronger and more successful schools.

It exists because running a school is more than teaching — school owners are also expected to manage enrollment, staff, parents, finances, administration and, increasingly, technology, often without ever having been formally taught how to run a school as a business.

School Owners Forum was founded by Umar Katibu, who also founded IntelliSAS Solutions and created IntelS, a school-management technology platform. Building software for schools meant working closely with school owners week after week, and hearing the same struggles again and again. School Owners Forum exists to share practical knowledge, real community, and useful resources — built from that same work.

The community lives primarily on WhatsApp, supported by free training, articles, resources and real school owner stories published here.
